How Much Do I Love Coffee?

    I love coffee.
    I love my espresso with steamed milk and stevia every morning. (It tastes like marshmallows).

    I love lattés and cappuccinos and mochas and macchiatos and affogato al caffé (coffee with ICE CREAM!!).

   The other day it hit.

             . . .

                   maybe I don't love coffee.
                         maybe I just love steamed milk.

It'd make sense. When we're out of milk, but not coffee, I have no desire for coffee. Maybe I don't take my coffee with milk, I take my milk with some coffee! If I didn't have 4 kiddos who's milk drinking take priority over my own, I'd drink steamed, sweetened milk for each meal.
            Hmmmmm. Odd.

A Lack of Fire

We moved and replaced the broken electric stove with a gas stove.

    Unfortunately, with everyone's furnaces breaking down, nowhere in town is available for "non-emergency" stove stuff, such as hooking up our lovely new gas stove.

    SAD! WE'VE BEEN EATING MICROWAVE FOOD! I DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW TO MICROWAVE FOOD! I had to look up which of our bowls are microwave safe! I've had such a stomach ache.

Muffin

Costco makes fantastic muffins.

35 frozen muffins are in our freezer.

If I quarter them and feed them to our babies in the morning with scrambled eggs, they will last 35 days.



. . . They are actually quite tasty frozen, and easy to cut into quarters.

. . . . . . If I eat one, I'll break my diet.

My Favorite Coffee

My favorite Coffee happens to be keto-friendly.

This recipe calls for:

  • Yummy black espresso
  • Stevia (I use 3 micro scoops of Better Stevia)
  • 2 tbsp Heavy Whipping Cream
  • Small amount of hot water

Destructions:
1. Put some hot water in your favorite non-burn-you mug
2. Put some stevia in your water. I use three of the tiny scoops included in Better Stevia.
3. Swish it around so the stevia disappears in the water.
4. Make your espresso, the way that you like best.
5. Put the espresso in your favorite non-burn-you mug with the stevia-hot water solution.
6. Add two delicious tablespoons of heavy whipping cream.
7. Smell it first. This is not really optional, because you'll regret it if you don't. Seriously. MmmmMMMmmmmm
8. Enjoy. No quotes today, just really, actually enjoy it.
